Can I install these myself?
Swapping an existing switch or socket for a like-for-like one is straightforward for most confident DIYers. Anything involving new wiring or circuits should go through a licensed electrician, as required by local regulations.
Do they fit standard EU wall boxes?
Yes. Every Karlik mechanism is CE certified and built to the standard round and square box sizes used across the EU — no special fittings needed.
Earthed or unearthed sockets?
Both — we stock SCHUKO sockets with earth and without, so you can match whatever your local wiring standard requires. Just let us know when you request a quote.
Are they expensive?
No — frames start from €1.95 and switches & sockets from €6.95. See a real, itemised example just below.
